The stick welder we have in the shop at the moment is dandy and all for putting things back together that come apart when they oughtn't, but I've been hearing good things about these flux-cored arc welders, and I've been aching to get hold of one to speed up automotive repairs.
Problem is, those things don't exactly fall off trucks as easily as Thunderbirds. Still, the local shoppes and hardware stores aren't exactly rushing to get them in stock or on catalogue -- so perhaps Marchese might not be averse to a bit of investment in the future. GE's starting to use these toys to make engine blocks, so can't blame me for being interested, eh wot?
